Maria Duval - Peace Awaits

Peace Awaits
"The thing is: if Peace is the most important thing to me in the world, then I am honor-bound to make my every decision count for peace. I ask: Does this (whatever this is) contribute to Peace? Mine? That of others? The world? For every single thing I do."

P.e.a.c.e
The dots between the letters tell you, undoubtedly, that I’m using P.E.A.C.E. as an acronym—a word made up of the first letters of additional words that spells another word altogether. This one comes from the brilliant mind of the luscious Iyanla Vanzant, a spiritual teacher based in Maryland. It stands for: Please Excuse All Crazy Experiences Is that not phenomenal? I think it is.

Peace Room
This article exemplifies Dr. Susan Corso’s pithy and inspiring writing on spirituality and peace. Four topics, interesting quotations and a beautiful suggestion in 300 words.

Bark for Peace
BarkForPeace.com is about people and their pets. It’s a sweet, whimsical website that serves as a tasty reminder of the absolute fact that there is no such thing as a small act of peace.

Peace Stuff
For as long as Dr. Corso has owned a car, she has used the vanity plate option to speak peace. In New Mexico, her plate said PAX DEA (Peace Goddess). In Massachusetts, it reads PAXYES (Peace Yes). Find out why.

What is Deeksha (oneness Blessing)
Deeksha or oneness blessing is given in the spirit and compassion of the Deeksha giver. Deeksha in saskrit means initiation or benediction. Everything that the physical world embodies, when perceived by the five senses, testifies to the fact we are in constant state of separation with self. The physical world represents a sacrifice of oneness. Everything simply is what it is. There are so many different states of experiencing this as there are people.

Peace Symbol Turns 50
The well-known Peace Symbol was designed in 1958. This year is its 50th birthday.Isn’t it delightful that such a “new” symbol comes from such an “old” one? Wisdom is the same the world over. It’s knowledge that comes from experience. Peace, too, dear one. It’s the action that comes from love.

Peace Like a Bar of Soap
"Here’s what I say: Until peace is as everyday an assumption as soap, we have to keep making the effort to remember it. Oh yeah, we’ll say, there’s always peace. As quotidian and assumptive as the presence of soap."

An Elective Peace
"I’m beginning to think that until our elected officials start to treat peace as a priority, it’s not going to be in the consciousness of We, The People. And that’s where peace needs to be. In fact, even better, in I The Person." There is a growing movement afoot in the United States to create a cabinet-level Department of Peace.
