According to Hindu belief, gratitude is one of the most important aspects to be a upright man. Ingratitude is inexcusable and unforgiven.
Just wondering what exactly means by gratitude?
Maria Duval explains in the simplest form, by expressing 'thank you' at times enough signifies our gratitude. At times we are helped so much by someone that mere words of thanks can never repay the help. This kind of help and sharing has to be remembered by us at all the times and we should make every effort to repay that.
Even if we are not able to repay the gratitude in full, our very feeling of being obliged keeps our heart pure and makes our helper feel good.
Gratitude is also immeasurable, unable to get written down in terms of numbers or money. But we can at least be ready and apply all our might to return the help in all possible ways.
For example, expressing your gratitude to your parents who take care of you unselfishly till you are grown up. We can at least try and see that our parents should never feel helpless and alone in her old age.
Similarly, reneging on the kind assistance of a buddy when you are in hard times by committing a grave act on him in return is unforgivable.
One should never commit any sin, and one should never even dream of committing the sin of ingratitude.

Improving Charisma
Why are do some people seem to draw all attention without effort, while others will always be a wall flower?
Maria Duval has some good suggestions to build up your charisma:
Show yourself.
Be positive towards others who could have good intentions towards you. In this way, you can take down the invisible veil and radiating this feeling. Yes, people around you can feel it as we energy mass ourselves.
Show interest
Show interest in other people and don't fake it. Ask yourself to listen wholeheartedly. Ask questions that interest the other party and invite them to talk about their experience. Everybody loves to talk about themselves.
Open yourself.
Approach others openly. Keep eye contact during a conversation. Do not avoid eye contact, and watch your body language. Crossing your arms or legs does not invite for conversation. Stand or sit casually and use a lively way of speaking.
Remember people's names
When being introduced to a dozen new people on a party, no one expects you to remember all the names. But people do really like it if you remember and use their names. So listen carefully when being introduced and repeat someone's name or ask if you have heard it correctly.

Weeding your Subconscious
If you really want to heal, you have to know the truth. Maria Duval says the truth is, that you have to know what caused whatever your issue is. The only way to change the outcome is to change the cause. If you remove the cause, you remove the effect. Right?
Except pretty much all of us have been lied to because most people just don't understand how the world - and the universe - really works. We've been taught that things "just happen" to us. You know the old saying: "stuff happens."
But here's the truth that will set you free: if you're experiencing it, you created it.
Which sounds a lot like blaming the victim, only it isn't. Because there are no victims. Maria says we all vibrate at a certain frequency, much like a radio sending out a signal. Those things in the universe that are tuned to our signal hone in and are drawn to us. Whether it's health or disease, wealth or poverty, great relationships or abusive ones, it's just the law of attraction.
The fair thing is that the Universe has just been matching our signal we give out with our life experiences. So when Maria Duval says you created whatever challenges you're experiencing now, maybe not deliberately or consciously created them. It is your Subconscious.
Yes, you have a chance to unwind these layers of mud in your Subconscious so that you can release your maximum potentials in life.
Of course, the question is: how do you do that, if all this stuff, all these causes of the effects you don't want are buried deep in your subconscious?
That's why I seek our Maria Duval for her valuable guidance in this area. She's the expert!

Control Your Thoughts
Even if you don't buy into the law of attraction, the concept still applies as much as anyone else as to you who are all living in this planet.
Maria Duval says the reason why law of attraction applies to all, whether to believers or disbelievers, is that it is a sure part of the universal laws.
We cannot limit how we think everyday, but we are able to be aware of our constant and recurring thought process, and this can be done simply by concentrating just a few minutes a day about our thoughts process and our inner feelings.
Maria says people attract bad things into lives unknowingly, even if nobody wants bad things to happen at all. The culprit is the subconscious mind that works within the law of attraction. What you consciously do not want has very little to do with it.
Maria Duval advises to spend about 10-15 minutes a day sitting or laying down in a quiet room, and start paying attention to what thoughts are crossing your mind. Meditation in another words.
After a few days practicing just as a watcher of your thoughts, try to replace any thought that you see as negative, by something you would like to have or would like to be.
Now you may have a total control of your thought which can allow you to literally transform your life.
