Wonderful Moonstone

One of Maria Duval's favourite gemstones is moonstone. I think she likes it a lot because she recommends it quite often and also holds it in high regards from her professional psychic's point of view as it may "contain" a lot of metaphysical properties that benefit people.

Moonstone is a lusciously glowing stone and it got its name from our nearest celestial body, Moon. It has a feminine property and hence moonstone is highly suitable to be carried by the fairer sex to calm emotional problems. Recently Maria Duval gave me a moonstone chain and she told me to let it worn by my spouse. It certainly has some calming effect and she doesn't flare her temper easily recently.

Maria Duval gives me some pointers to optimise the moonstone's power too:

1. Allow your moonstone to lie on your solar plexus chakra to work for several minutes, or even fall asleep with it in place.

2. Moonstone can also help people to discern other people's thought. Keep it in your pocket when you need need that "understanding". Moonstone is a psychic stone!

3.If you would like to maintain an emotional connection with another person, both of you should carry moonstones, ideally in the same pocket, or around your neck.

Listener and Talker

I remember that when I was younger, about eight to ten years old, I would listen to every adults I met. My dad told me children need to listen more, rather than talk more. I took it by heart and agreed. Hence I'd sit one side and listen to adults talking on and on, without any inkling what's happening.

As I grow up, I began to understand the value of "listening". A listener learns more than the speaker. Listening helps us to discern between right and wrong.

Most successful people listened, they listened to what people want and every complain they received. They did not once make any comment or criticism because they did not have to. They showed to others that they cared because they listened. They learned what others missed.

On the other hand, a talker likes to listen to his own voice and he or she is usually a person who has high ego. Don't you ever hear this? "A wise old owl sat on an oak, the more he saw the less he spoke, the less he spoke the more he heard".
