"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond imagination. It is our light more than our darkness which scares us. We ask ourselves – who are we to be brilliant, beautiful, talented, and fabulous. But honestly, who are you to not be so?
I think courage is a state of the mind.
Courage is not related to the amount of wealth directly. I have seen richer people who are very fearful of losing their materialistic lifestyle. They are afraid.
Courage-wise I think it's easier to start doing what you love when you're totally broke and even in debt because you probably don't have much to lose anyway.
This is exactly what I recently discovered about myself.
Lately work has become stressful for me. I thought it's just because I no longer enjoyed the work, but it's because I worry if I get more successful and responsible, I'll stand out more and I'm afraid to be perceived as "more important" than other people.
I realized I'm actively fighting success.
Isn't that a strange thought?
