Happy or sad? Up to you.

Maria says through meditation, we can be healthy and cheerful. Easily put, you are what you think and feel.

Our thinkings and mental processes can improve or degrade our health, whether we know it or not. Negative thinking is a habit ingrained in us.

Similarly, Maria Duval tells me that positive thoughts can be a habit in me through self conditioning and meditation which basically brings the brain waves into alpha rhythm where you experience a feeling of well-being and calmness.

The brain likes this feeling so each time you meditate you create a positive response within the mind. Gradually you look forward to and make time for your meditation sessions. In turn, you become happier for longer and longer until you retain a feeling of contentment within you.

Again, what I suggest is that like all things in life, we all have a choice to be happy or sad.

Reiki is like a water flow

I have learned Reiki before, and this is one of my favourite topic. Reiki has been in my life for more than one year and its now a odd routine for me for as long as I would be alive.

Like all spiritual techniques, there are various forms of Reiki, particularly when it comes to blockages. Reiki is able to deal with these energy blockages in you so that you can be a more physical and energetic person.

I have heard that when there is a blockage, you can't fully utilise the goodness of Reiki. But I beg to differ. Even if there is a blockage, Reiki will still flow through your whole physical and spiritual body by another way around till the blockage is removed. It's just like a change in direction when a gush of water flow meets a big boulder in the middle of a stream. The water flows around the boulder.

Reiki is a easily learnable gift that anyone can pick up and apply Its energetic flow and force is similar to that of a water flow. Constant, continuous, and full of life's energy, Reiki will flow through your physical, spiritual and energetic bodies as well.

Subsconsious

As you probably know, we only use about 5 to 10% of our brain power. That is very little, isn't it? Imagine how the world will be if everyone uses just 20% of the level. The reason why we use so little is because we only need this much for our daily activities, like walking, eating, learning, and so forth. We don't really require more level of intellect when we are dealing with these.

Maria says we also possess a mysterious source of power, called the Subconscious which is a gift from the Higher One to us human beings. The Subconscious has immerse power and as you guess it, most people don't even aware of its existence. If one is able to tap on its depth, one can truly inspire and achieve truly outstanding outcomes.

In a simple explanation, Subconscious is simply the Infinite Intelligence that made you what you are. The Intelligence that has manufactured your body from tiny cells which have multiplied indefinitely, from infant to your adulthood.

Maria Duval explains to me that this is the truly superior difference that make human the Lord among the living things in this Earth. We are regarded as the Infinite Intelligence of the Universe. Calling upon this Intelligence that is within you is also same as calling our Inner Guide or our Soul. It is our best friend, our life buddy that follows us wherever we go. It is always there to help you when you call upon it.

Hmmm... how can I tap more on it? Sometimes I feel so unchartered in life despite all the assurances.

Express your gratitude

There is this analogy about expressing gratitude. Some people feel shy about expressing gratitude. It is like you have wrapped a birthday present for a friend, but decided not to give it to that friend.

I'm sitting in my garden today, on a beautiful, cool and sunny day, looking out over my plants, with Mozart playing at the background. Yes it is so relaxing moment. I found myself pausing in my enjoyment to reprimand myself for not saying thank you often enough. I don't mean thank you in the sense of thanking someone for a favor that they have done. What I mean is paying tribute to the world in which we live which provides us with an abundance of everything and also infinite opportunities.

Maria Duval stresses the importance of expressing your thanks and gratitude over and over again. It must be something spiritually beneficial.

Whether or not you have faith in terms of a particular religion is not what I am really getting at here. I'm merely noting that faith, hope and gratitude are all essential to being happy in this life. You tend to find that these three things go hand in hand and also that people who are successful and happy experience these sentiments as a major part of their habitual nature.

Expressing gratitude in itself directs ones attention to what you have as opposed to what you do not have. In a world where there are so many dissatisfied people, who always want more, one wonders if these people have ever learned to say thank you for what they have already got.

Let's take a moment to relax, breathe deeply, hold our hands together, close our eyes and say a huge and heart-felt thank you for the abundance in this world and for the endless opportunities which we are lucky enough to be able to pursue.
