Maria Duval - Allowing Wealth into your life

Allowing Wealth into your life
Have you ever wondered why for some people money seams to come easily while for others they struggle every month just trying to get by? There are those people that never worry about the amount of money that will be coming in at any particular time. That one person in your group of friends, you know the one that always seem to have more them enough. They never miss out on things from lack of funds, they always pay their rent on time, the bills never pile up for them and they always seem to have new things.

Is this person better then you? Have they done something karmically that they deserve this more then you? Do they work harder or smatter then you? Maybe they where born with money. Does this make you feel jealous? Do you fell anger or hate some time as you struggle ever month to get by? Do you feel like if only you could get a leg up you’d be ok? If any of this sounds familiar to you then what you are about to read could change your life forever.

You deserve to be rich! You deserve to have all good things come to you with out struggle. You can have, be or do what ever it is that you want… No Exceptions!!! So why if you want these things are you struggling to get them? How can it be true that there is no such thing as lack when all you see are people struggling to get by? Maybe you feel that this has to be false information here. You’ve had friends that have tried the whole “Secret” thing and they are worse off now then they where before they ever heard of it. How does that make you feel?

Well let’s take a closer look at what was called “The Secret”. It is not really a secret you know. That’s like saying that gravity is a secret just because you don’t under stand it or electricity because you can not see it. The so called secret is the Law of Attraction. This is a Universal Law, the Law of Attraction. Now in the last year or so, many people are becoming clearer about this Universal Law. Its common knowledge now that what ever it is you think about the most will show up in your reality. It’s not a secret that if you are always thinking about the worse case scenario that the worse case scenario tends to show up over and over again. It’s planning out your future buy thinking about what you want to happen or will happen. You can not plan a birthday party and expect it to turn out like a bachelor party.

Let’s start with the basic principals of this Law of Attraction. This Law states that what ever you focus upon will become your reality. So is it that simple? If all I think about is chocolate cake, then it would stand to reason that you will get chocolate cake? Well the short answer is YES! What ever you think about or give your attention to will eventually show up in your life. This may be a scary thought if you are just now finding out about this. You may even be worried that all the things bad in your life will never go away, and that now you’re going to have to monitor your thoughts too? This may even seem impossible to you. Well it’s actually simpler then it seems and don’t worry about all your thoughts today this will not happen for you over night. This is learning a new skill, like riding a bike it takes time to figure it out but once you do you never forget. You would not take one mechanic class and deciding the very next day that you are done learning and go out and apply for work as a mechanic.

So it all starts with how you feel. If in the beginning you are unsure sure about what you are attracting into your life then ask your self how you feel. If you answer is “I feel good”, then keep doing what it is that you are doing. If your answer is “I don’t feel so hot today”, then you may want to readjust your thoughts. This is how attraction works. Say you where doing an experiment with a magnet. Magnets attract like magnets. You probably remember playing with magnets as a kid. Some of the magnets would slam together and some would repel each other but they all stuck to the fridge. You and your life are the fridge. Now the fridge does not say hey I don’t like the letter “E” so I’m not going to let that magnet stick to me. Well have you ever tried to write any thing with out the letter “E”?

Now lets look at our world, our universe. If there was no such thing as attraction then our world would not exists as it does today. The magnetic field around this planet is what keeps the other planets and stars form falling into us and what keeps us from floating off into space. This is something you know as fact. You do not go around saying well I’d believe it if I see it. You just believe it and because of that you see evidence of it. The same applies to you and what ever it is that you want.

So when we look at what it is that we are attraction into our live it’s most important to focus on how you feel! If you are looking to attract more money into your life you can not be looking at a mountain of debit and saying this is not what I want. Because you are putting a magnet out there, a magnet that is attracting Debit! The Universe answers your every thought. It does not judge you and say “well why do they want that?, You should ask for something else!” No the Universe only brings you a match to what ever the magnet is you have put out. So maybe you are arguing, well it’s reality that I have debit and I can’t renege on my responsibilities. Well that is true this is your current reality because the magnet you put out there was debit related and you got more debit. But that does not mean that you can not put out a new magnet. A magnet that says I will take care of my financial obligations and in doing so I will find that more and more money comes into my life.

Maybe you have tried to attract more money into your life and you have not yet seen success. Well many people will tell you a many different things regarding this subject. Some people will say, “You’re just not working hard enough.” Or, “You can’t always get what you want, just be happy with what you got.” Maybe even, “You can’t just wish it to happen, you have to take action.” This may all seem like great advice and what I want you to do is ask your self how you feel about each statement. What is it that you feel and how does it change your intention. If any of these statements make you fell good then I would say take that advice, because it resonates with you and you are the only one who can make things happen in your life.

On the other hand, if those statements do not feel good to you and you are ready to look at things a new way then try these statements. “I allow new way of money to come into my life and I look for and expect checks to just show up in my mail box.” Or “I feel inspired to talk to some one about consolidating my debit so I can focus on prosperity.” How about, “I will spend 5 minutes daily thinking about my wealth and how I like to live it up.” How do these statements make you feel?

It is up to you to decide which magnet to put out there and to let go, trusting that the Universe will respond. Now keep in mind that things do not happen over night. Just as you had to learn to walk, speak or write so will you have to learn to attract more money into your life! Soon you will begin to see opportunities that inspire you to take action. These opportunities will come to you as you up open you’re self up to receiving. When the opportunities arise and if they feel right making you fell joy then do not hesitate, this is the Universe directing you to your final out come. Trust that you will have more because you want more. Because you deserve more and you will have more!

Exploring Mindfulness And Meditation
In our every day lives, we are all guilty of neglecting our minds, allowing our brains to be lulled into a lazy, neglected, and unaware state. It is as if we are allowing ourselves to be sculpted by bland and repetitive consumerism, our individuality being chiselled away by a tedium we cannot even be bothered to challenge with any will.

Life need not be like that. We are each blessed with a powerful mind; but normally people have forgotten or, most likely, never even knew how, to use it. It is such a waste of our own greatest resource.

One way to start to extricate ourselves from the mindless quicksand is to gently exercise our minds, using mindfulness and meditation as a way of bringing ourselves more emphatically into the real world, and start the process of exercising control over our minds and our lives.

Creating a mindfulness meditation is a gentle but powerful exercise. But how do you go about it?

A Simple Mindfulness Meditation Exercise

As with any meditation session, you need to get into a relaxed and comfortable position, eyes closed, and then commence with deep nasal breathing, focusing your thoughts on the breathing to ease yourself into a meditative state.

Once you feel that you are calmed by your breathing and that your breath is under your rhythmic control, then you can move on to focusing on your own body, a part at a time. I was first taught this at yoga class, where we were taught to concentrate first of all on the left foot, focusing on it from a position above ourselves. Then move up the body slowly, left ankle, knee, thigh and so on. When reaching your head, you then do the same in reverse on the other side of the body: right shoulder, right elbow, right hand and so on.

Once you have completed your tour of your own body, as if you were someone else examining it, then it is time to open your eyes and increase your mindfulness of your surroundings.

To do this, focus on any object in the room; it does not have to be anything special: a cup on the coffee table, a vase, a plastic flower, anything. Try to maintain that focus for half a minute, and then move on to any other object. You can repeat this several times, always maintaining a focus on your own body and your own breathing, creating a triple harmony with each object on which you focus.

By using this simple mindfulness meditation you are increasing awareness both of yourself and your surroundings, in a very gentle and easy way. It can serve as a prelude to some mental task, as well as being part of an ongoing mindfulness campaign to strengthen and expand the use of your own mind.

For example, most days I write, but sometimes I just do not seem able to concentrate on what I am supposed to be writing about. I find this type of exercise, even just for 10 minutes, will snap me out of that inexplicable malaise, and I can get right on and write what I should have written earlier.

I am Charmed, and You?
Possessing a charming way will open many doors. The latent charm lurking within you is your secret and hidden away gold mine. Your charm is like a pearl inside the oyster, and once it is discovered and polished can highlight and greatly enrich your personality and success. Charm is that intangible quality within you, that when uncovered and freed from suffocating baggage, can add a subtle power to your presence that is irresistibly pleasing. The influence of this charm will attract, calm, assuage, placate and delight anyone with whom you come into contact. The ability to win over and influence people is in direct proportion to the charm you are able to summon up and demonstrate. Charm can be developed like every other quality or attribute of the mind by adopting and practicing some basic rules. Adaptation, the art of agreeing with another person for the sake of amicability is lesson one. Finding common ground through genuine curiosity lowers defenses and paves the way for further exploration. Adaptation is an acknowledgment of another’s ‘right to be’ right or wrong. As Voltaire said, "I do not agree with a word you say but I shall defend to the death your right to say it." The goal is to charm not to reform. The primary rule is for you to be yourself. Any kind of physical makeover, including that phoney smile, won’t do the trick. Affectations and pretense, even a well rehearsed choreography, is swift and certain death to charm. It is easy enough to attract and get attention by artifice, but to influence anyone beyond surface pleasantries, you must possess the power of charm within. A smile may win a first look, but it takes the conscious power of charm to obtain results. Authenticity is genuine and indisputable, easily picked up by others as the real thing, where pretense is usually unmasked. By practicing the techniques of charm from within, you can put your prospect or antagonist at ease and even inspire them to do your bidding. Projecting charm requires give and take. The first technique is to listen. You must be an attentive listener interested in hearing what the other person has to say, which also means paying close attention and really comprehending what they have to say and where they are coming from in saying it. The second fundamental is to always be humble, gentle and polite. By adopting these traits you will project a gracious and friendly manner which communicates the attitude that you are both likeable and approachable. Treat all people that you meet as potential friends. By displaying an open and positive attitude, and making others feel that your own life was incomplete before having met them, empowers them, and in turn they will become endeared to you. Interest, kindness, and humbleness are a major part of being charming. Giving praise is another. Praise is like a rare gemstone which derives its worth from its scarcity. Praise is one of the greatest motivating forces there is, and when sincerely applied can work wonders. Praise a dog and he is your friend. Praise children and they will glow with joy. Praise your ability with gratitude and you increase the flow of intelligence into your endeavors. Positive praise feelingly applied is an active multiplier. Praise what you have and more will be available to you. Praise is a positive expression of appreciation. In the case of others, it gives hearty and warm approval and breaks down barriers. If anyone you meet deserves your approbation, by all means give it, and in so doing you enhance their appreciation of your own qualities, a win win situation powered by charm. The third element of charm is tolerance. Life is a compromise, and to realize and accept this adds to ones peace of mind and enjoyment. People are entitled to their own opinion, and possessing tolerance allows respect for diverse opinions, without necessarily believing or sharing them. Respect for another’s point of view will always enlarge your own world view. By exercising tolerance you dispel prejudice and vanity. It is the essential quality necessary to establish the true relationship between divergent situations on an impersonal basis. By becoming tolerant you learn not to take the world and the events and people in it too seriously, yourself included, thus enabling your sense of humor to expand. A true and easy smile and the ability to have a good laugh will relax you, and in so doing, aid you in peace of mind and efficiency. Tolerance and a good sense of humor are indeed additional gems to have in your crown of charm. Charm is the art of pleasing. You need to be poised along with possessing the ability to act natural. Your ability to be pleasingly spontaneous and to act natural is a reflection of your habits. If these habits have been formed through the proper training of grace, poise and cleanliness, then they add to your charm. Negative habits of sloth, crudeness and loutishness diminishes. Charm refines the essence of your personality and permits the radiant beauty of your real being to shine through. Possessing charm will greatly augment your effectiveness. It makes it possible for you to always present yourself in the most favorable light. Through the glow of charm you will feel healthier and those worry lines will soon be replaced by your infectious smile. So train and equip yourself in the art and power of charm. It will enrich your presence and add immeasurably to your personal satisfaction and happiness.

The Law of Attraction and the Science of Getting Rich - By Nela Odarijew
What are you thinking about right now? The Law of Attraction states that "whatever we think about, we bring about". This law may initially seem like new age fluff but believe it or not, there are scientific merits to this proposition. The top quantum physicists of our time have discovered that our universe and our reality is very much directed by the "observer". When studying quantum particles (the smallest observable unit of matter), these scientists discovered that such particles behave in accordance with the person conducting the experiment. It the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in a certain way, they do. And yet, if the scientists "predict" that quantum particles behave in another way, they do. It is the "observer" that dictates the outcome of the experiment! What does all this mean for us normal people? Well actually, these scientific experiments has far reaching implications for us as our world is made up of these same quantum particles! In this case, we are the "observer" the director and hence the creator of our reality, our world and our experience. So, be careful of what you think about! for example, have you thoughts ever begun with the following phrases: I don’t understand… I don't want... I’m frustrated that… I hate my… I can’t figure out … I’m stressed about… I’m worried that… I should be able to… but I can’t… Why am I having so much trouble? The Law of Attraction indifferent to the words preceding your thought. Whatever you think about you will attract into your life. When you think "I don't understand why bad things always happen to me?", you are "attracting" bad things into your life. When you think "I want to get out of debt", you are attracting more debt into your life. When you think "I'm worried I will get sick", you are attracting sickness into your life! The Law of Attraction brings about what you focus on even if it is not what you want. Get it? If you understand this principle, here are some examples of how to make the law of attraction work to support you rather than to act against you. Try observing your thoughts and changing your thinking in the following way: "I want to get out of debt" to "I want to earn amazing riches" "I hate my boss" to "I look forward to owning my own business" "I don't understand why he is so lazy" to "I love it when he helps out around the house" "I'm stressed about this project" to "I always create amazing results in my projects" "I'm worried about getting sick" to "I experience vibrant health daily" Now that we have a better understanding of the Law of Attraction, it is no surprise why so many people struggle with regards to money. It is been said that "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". This is actually the Law of Attraction in action. Because the wealthy have money, they often think about how to best use their money and hence they attract more money. The poor on the other hand often think about their present lack of money and unfortunately, that also attracts lack into their lives. Currently, 96% of the world's wealth is being earned by just 1% of the population! To address this issue, the main teachers behind the movie is launching a program is called "The Science of Getting Rich" and it is based on employing the law of attraction to create wealth. This amazing program is based on the principles and philosophies outlined in a book of the same title written in 1910 by Wallace D Wattles. This is the same book that inspired the movie. What is the Science of Getting Rich about? Well in the words of Wallace D. Wattles, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich." The Science of Getting Rich Seminar is all about teaching how to do things in this "certain" way to create wealth.

How to achieve Astral Projection (OBE) Overnight

Three easy techniques to achieve Astral Projection Overnight

Achieving Astral Projection overnight is as easy as going to bed. There are a few ingredients and three easy techniques you need to cook this up. Needless to mention, if you are an intermediate to expert level in the art of astral projection you might already know these ingredients. However, the hope of jotting this down is to provide a very simple recipe to allow anyone to achieve success literally overnight.

Ingredients List

1. First Ingredient: Everything requires an exchange of Energy

Automobiles need fuel to move, plants need water and sun to grow, even the human body needs energy, in this case food, to function efficiently. That being said, projecting astral projection also requires an exchange of energy, or fuel. The natural question is: What is this fuel and where does it come from?

Firstly, for clarity's sake let's dichotomize this fuel into organic fuel and prana (life force).

The aforementioned fuel is plainly and simply just food. The body needs to be well nourished and healthy to be apt to allocate its precious resources to astral endeavors. If you are weak you won't be able to study, exercise, heal, or operate efficiently, it is no different when it comes to astral projection. That being said, it is possible to overwork or put enough stress on the body to achieve astral projection but this is for obvious reasons counterproductive. A healthy diet works best. Plenty of water and a supplement of B vitamins and magnetite will do wonders. Lemon juice is also an important and accessible part of this equation. It is very important to test, test, and test again. What diet works best for you? What feeding time works best for you?

Attempting to project too soon after dinner will reduce your chances of a projection because of the stress on your digestive system. Substances such as caffeine and alcohol will also act against you. Avoid them during your projections.

The other and more important kind of fuel is prana. This, in a nutshell is an unseen energy that is all around us and permeates everything. This is the energy that ties and binds our universe together. Think of prana as the "Force" from the film Star Wars. Much like organic fuel allows your physical body to operate, prana is what will fuel your "astral probe" and allow "projection". Breathing is by far the easiest and most accessible way of obtaining prana. What's the trick? In order to absorb prana it must be wanted. Turn your lungs, and your body into a loving home for this prana, invite it in and it will come. There are more advance ways of absorbing prana. Specialized meditation techniques, I recommend a specialized chakra meditation that will yield more than enough prana for projections, amongst other benefits.

2. Second Ingredient: Knowledge is Power

The biggest factor ruining aspiring astral projectors all over the planet is fear. And knowledge is the weapon of choice against this treacherous enemy. There are countless articles, books and tapes on the subject. Saturate yourself with the subject. Be logical and don't believe everything you read. There is a great debt of gratitude due to all the trail blazers that have put astral projection in the map, but remember these are regular people trying to explain and talk about an unusual subject. Thus, be wary of misinterpretations. One pearl of knowledge that must be shared and will strike down fear of astral projection is that: You are not out of your body. Yes, you never leave your body while you are projecting. Think about these letters that you are reading. You are experiencing with your sight. These letters are outside your body, yet you are able to perceive and experience them while you remain inside inside your body. It is of great importance to grasp this. It will obliterate ignorant fears commonly associated with astral projection, such as, fear of death, fear of possessions and fear of getting lost outside of your body.

3. Third Ingredient: Practice makes perfect

Who likes to hear this sentence? Not nearly as many as those that like to say it. But, as painful as it sounds, it holds true. Any skill worth having requires you to put in a decent amount of time and effort. Now that your motivation is likely back to zilch allow me to digress to the original point of this article...yes, the overnight part. Hopefully, your motivation is now back to normal levels. The following are three simple and efficient techniques that will project your astral probe literally overnight.

The movement technique:

After a long day of white water rafting I proceeded to lay down in my bed and rest. Interestingly, laying there in a relaxed state, I couldn't help but notice that the movement of the raft moving down the river had stayed with me. I went with it for a while and as soon as my brain was convinced of the reality of this movement it was tricked into achieving it. Before I knew it my astral probe was inches away from my bedroom wall as I lay in bed. After discovering this purely by accident I experimented with other variations of movement, such as, jogging, swimming and even driving a car with great success.

The "feels like technique":

This is a very powerful technique, and for the purpose of astral projection you might want to think of it as visualization on steroids. Using this technique, is the only way I have been able to project while completely awake. In a nutshell, you will pick a room in your house; the bathroom seems to work best. Lie down and relax in your bedroom. Now as you lay there, relaxing and getting comfortable start to picture your bathroom in your mind's eye. If you are anything like me, your first attempts at visualization will be pathetic. Your job is to trick your brain into believing it is in the bathroom, the brain is no fool, and you need to imitate the sensory data the brain expects to receive to the best of your ability. Feel the colors, the brightness, and the texture of the surface. Look at the mirror, the corners of the room, the sink, you get the idea. It is all in the details.

The lazy technique:

This is my favorite one because it requires the least amount of work. This technique requires you to play around with your normal sleep schedule, so it is not recommended for work or school days. Simply set your alarm clock about three hours earlier than usual. Get up and do some type of task that will require some degree of focus. Read a book, preferably on astral projection, take a walk around your block. Taking a 15 minute drive usually does it for me. Then go back to your warm, comfortable and inviting bed. That is it. I can only speculate that these actions put your brain in a very special state of mind that makes it much more prone to achieve astral projection.

Everything in the universe requires an exchange of energy. Remember that, whether you are writing an article fueled by caffeine or sending an astral probe to the Mexican Riviera powered by prana. Knowledge will set you and your astral probes free. Educate yourself on the subject; it is the only way to dispel ignorance and fear. Be consistent with your practice, anything worth gaining requires effort. And if all this sounds like too much work, at least give "the lazy technique" a try, you might be one of the few lucky natural astral projectors.

The Biggest Challenge Facing A Poet, Getting Published
The best advice that I can give any child or adult who wants to be a poet is to read lots of poetry. Get a feel for poetry. Look at different styles of poetry. I have grown so much in my own writing by reading the work of other poets. Don’t be afraid to accept constructive criticism. Part of being a writer is being able to accept criticism. Everyone who writes poetry is eager to publish a book but why not start out small. Before you send off your poetry for publication ask yourself if you are ready. It might be wise to Join an online poetry community and share your poetry with other poets who will be honest with you and offer some constructive criticism. Once you are ready to take that plunge the best place to start is poetry magazines and ezines . You might also want to check some publishers that accept poetry for anthologies. You are going to want to purchase a copy of Poet’s Market that is published annually. This is an essential book for poets who are interested in publishing their work. For younger poets some places you might want to check out are Poetry for Kids , Teen Ink and About.com's Creative Writing for Teens. You are also going to want to reach your market. You are going to want to see just what kind of poetry the magazine publishes as often time’s magazines will receive poetry that is just not right for their magazine. Submission guidelines are on most sites and many magazines will post a sample of poems that can be found in their magazine. When submitting your poetry to magazines. Always present it in typescript, using a simple 10 or 12 point font like Arial or Times New Roman. Present a cover letter that is professional addressing the magazine editor by their name. Offer the poems for publication in their magazines, be sure to list your other publications if any and thank the editor for considering your work for possible publication. Send them about five of your poems and always include a S.A.E. (Self Addressed Envelope) with your submission. Editors most times do not return your poems but without submitting a S.A.E. your poems won’t even be looked at. Also make sure that you have included enough return postage in your S.A.E. Example of a cover letter: Dear (name), Please consider the enclosed poems for publication in (name of magazine). I have enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope for your reply. Thank you for your consideration of my work for possible publication. You’re very brief bio here and other publications here.) If you are submitting by email make sure that you follow the guidelines on the website. Most publishers prefer the poem to be submitted as an attachment in word document. If you are unsure of the guidelines it never hurts to email the editor and ask them. You should never submit a poem that has already been published or that you have sent to another magazine to be published. This includes if you have published them on your own homepage. In most cases magazines will consider a poem posted on your website or an open poetry community to be already published. Therefore you will not be able to claim first rights to it and most magazines; newspapers etc will not accept it as submission. Sandra Soli of byline magazine says if a poem appears on a web page, it is published. If a poem can be accessed via the general internet user, it is published. On the other hand, if the forum is closed to a limited membership and your poem is not available for general viewing, then she would consider that a work shopped item just as in a private critique group. This concerns how easily the piece can be accessed by readers. Most web appearances are open to all and byline magazines considers that to be a publication. The Pedestal Magazine quotes “The Pedestal Magazine would consider such a piece previously published, in that it has been inserted into the public domain If you are submitting work that has already appeared in the web for publication, mention in the cover letter the forum(s) where the poems have been posted and let the editor make an informed decision. You really do not want to do anything that jeopardizes your chances of seeing your poem published. Also be sure to keep track of all your submissions. Then prepare yourself also for a long wait. Chicken Soup for the soul states that they receive 100 stories per day and it takes up to three years to develop a book. Poets should not be discouraged by rejections. Part of being a poet or any kind of writer is preparing yourself for rejection. Trust me I’m an over sensitive person and when I got my first rejection letter I thought it was the end of the world. But I later learned that a rejection letter does not mean that you are by any means a bad poet. A rejection letter should never discourage you from pursuing your craft. Not all poetry will be published but find comfort in knowing that someday somewhere your poem will find its rightful reader. By all means consider me and every other writer who has been rejected on your side. Having your poetry published is only one part of writing. Until it happens and you have that first publication enjoy your writing and join a community and find a few good readers and supporters of your work and be proud that you took the step and sent your poetry off to be considered for publication. I have a confession of my own I have only had my poetry published in a few newspapers, ezines, and my own book that was published by one of the worse publishers out there but that has not discourage me one bit from working towards fulfilling my dreams or wishing my fellow poets great success. I have had my accomplishments and one of the greatest is seeing that an article such as this one I have just written might help just one of you. Many poets end up self-publishing their own writing and that isn’t a bad rout to go either. To find out about self publishing and pod publishing be sure to read my article Publishing and Promoting of Poetry Anthologies and Chapbooks

Creating Wealth And Abundance... Is There A Secret?
The Secret Law of Attraction Creating Wealth and Abundance Internet Marketing Maven Trina L.C. Sonnenberg Is there a person in the world who does not want abundance in their lives? Do people want to live in poverty? Of course not, but how does one go about gaining the abundance they desire? Why are some people wealthy and others poor? Some might say that it is just the way the world works; the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and it is usually the rich taking from the poor that makes it so. But, is that true? I guess it depends on perspective. Granted, there are people who are born into wealthy families, who never have to put much thought into how to get the things they desire, but those are not the people I want to discuss. After all, some people born with a silver spoon in their mouths die bankrupt. I want to talk about the people who have everything they want as the result of doing something to get it. Why is it that some people seem to attract money, good fortune, fame, etc., while others seem to fail at everything? One word... ATTITUDE! The Secret, really is no secret at all. It is all in the application of the Law of Attraction. The 'haves' know and practice it, and the 'have-nots' don't. It is that simple. What is the Law of Attraction? It is the scientific principle that states: Like attracts like. If you think about having debt, you will have debt. If you think about wealth, you will attract wealth. If you think about being unhappy, you will be unhappy. If you think about happiness, you will be happy. For example: When a person focuses on all of the things they don't have, they become frustrated, angry, and unhappy. But if that same person put the same amount of energy into being grateful for all that they do have, they would begin to feel good. When a person feels good, they go about their day doing things that perpetuate that feeling; attracting more into their life to make them feel even better. When a person feels bad, they tend to do things that perpetuate that feeling too. Remember what Tinkerbell told Peter Pan...? If you want to fly, just think a happy thought. That is how the Law of Attraction works. Think happy thoughts, focus on them, and take action. You just cannot feel bad, when you're thinking about good things. Good thoughts lead to more good thoughts and ultimately to good actions. Bad thoughts lead to more bad thoughts and... You get the picture. People have been writing about it for a very long time. People like: Norman Vincent Peale, Napoleon Hill, Wallace D. Wattles, etc.. They knew about the Law of Attraction and wrote about it. Millions have read their books, and have learned the secret through them. In fact, the hit movie, The Secret, was based on Wallace D. Wattles book, The Science of Getting Rich, which is all about the Law of Attraction. It all boils down to this: If you want abundance in your life, you must think about having it, not about not having it. Think about what you have, and be grateful for it, what you want; not about what you lack.

What Jay Abraham And Napoleon Hill Taught Me About 'Wealth Attraction'
This article is a little different from some of the previous ones I?ve written about success principles.

Let?s go back to when I was first starting out as an entrepreneur. In fact, I wasn?t even an entrepreneur yet. I was trying to become one.

I?d been listening to tapes of Napoleon Hill?s ?Your Right To Be Rich? seminar?over and over and over. I listened day and night.

As soon as I opened my eyes in the morning? Napoleon Hill.

During the day? Napoleon Hill.

While I slept? Napoleon Hill!

It didn?t matter to me that I?d listened to it 5?10?20 times in a row. And this wasn?t a 1-hour CD either. It was 14 hours of only Napoleon Hill!

Imagine what that?s like: wanting to succeed so badly that you?d be willing to listen to the same talk every day until you made a difference.

Amazing.

I completely saturated my consciousness with Dr. Hill?s message.

After a few weeks, I reached a state where I no longer needed a motivational shot in the arm; I now had within me an overwhelming desire to take ACTION.

Only there was a problem:

I had a ROADBLOCK in my life.

My roadblock was that I had this wealth of information around me; tons of personal development books, cds and tape sets?yet I didn?t know exactly what I should be doing.

I was motivated to take action but I had no idea what action to take.

I didn?t know how to convert ideas into dollars.

I was stuck.

I remember sitting at my desk, looking at all these titles by Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hansen, Harv Eker, Robert Allen and so many others. This wealth of knowledge and wisdom surrounded me and I didn?t have a clue what to do with it all.

All I could do was ask out loud?WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

Let me tell you: when you ask the right questions, you?ll get the right answers.

The next thing I did was I pulled out a tape set by Jay Abraham called ?Your Secret Wealth? and started listening to it..

On the tapes, Jay spoke about ?Seeing Opportunities Around You?.

Opportunity is everywhere and there are SO MANY different ways to make money.
You just have to be able to recognize them.

So I started trying to ?see? opportunity. I looked for it everywhere I went.

What was the value of things around me?

And was I perceiving a greater or lesser value in them than other people?

Training my mind to perceive opportunity opened my awareness and I was then able to see opportunities where I never would have seen them before.

In fact, I went on to become a PowerSeller on eBay for 2 years because of this. And I didn?t even start out with any merchandise!

That said, what I?m going to share with you now is a simple technique you can implement immediately to make extra money for yourself.

However, this technique is so simple and easy to put into practice that there?s a good chance you will take it too lightly. That you?ll say, ?that?s not a big deal. I know that already.?

This would actually be a mistake on your part because then you won?t reap the rewards either.

Ok, are you ready for an exercise that is guaranteed to quickly and easily bring you more money in your life?

Here?s what you do:

Up to 15 times each day, I want you to ask (out loud): ?How Can I Make Money??

That?s it.

Don?t ask 15 times in a row like you had to when you were caught chewing gum in school.

Ask once at a time, throughout the day, with all your attention and with sincerity:

?How Can I Make Money??

Then Listen.

Listen, because the answer will come to you.

And so will the money!

Have a Great Day and Let?s Make This Your Year!

Creating Relationship Synergy through Rapport Building
How often have you wanted to create a connection with someone or a group but somehow missed the mark? You keep getting the same results every time you make an attempt at establishing any relationship, and it's a result you're not happy with. If this is the case you really need to change how you do things. Rapport building is one of mutual influence, a give and take within a relationship, includes having regard for the feelings of others, respecting and understanding them, and looking at life from someone else's perspective other than your own. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes and begin to understand where they're coming from — it doesn't take much, just your willingness to give it a try. One of the great things about rapport is that it doesn't matter whether you have agreement or not with the other party. Remember some conversations you've had in the past with your best friend, partner, or even children. Do you always agree with them? What happens when you disagree? Is it the end of the world or is there friendly banter? Sometimes we simply agree to disagree. I heard someone say once "You can either be right, or you can be happy." I know I'd rather be happy. You can also build relationships with those you personally don't get along with. I've had jobs in the past where I had absolutely nothing in common with my bosses, however I still respected their position — they were still my boss, they were running the show and for all intents and purposes knew what they were doing. With that, my professional integrity remained intact. So what can we do about getting rapport happening? Interaction with others is multifaceted. We all have our own views on life that we believe is right, we have different values and beliefs; there are cultural issues as well as many other things that need to be taken into consideration when dealing with others. So I've come up with some very basic rapport building strategies that might just make it happen for you. Firstly, take baby steps. If you're uncomfortable matching and mirroring the behaviours and language of others, start by practising with yourself in front of a mirror, find yourself a partner you'll be comfortable practising with, or mirror someone on television. The more you practise the more fluid your rapport building skills will become — think of this as if you engaging in a slow moving rhythmic dance with someone. Read each point first and give yourself time to absorb its meaning. *Take a genuine interest in the other person. *Become curious as to how the other person thinks, what they value most, what type of humour they have, what language they use — is it visual, auditory or feeling? *If there is an apparent age gap between you and the other person, learn about that generation, what their values are, what motivates them and show an interest in their history. *Be willing and flexible enough to see life through the other person's eyes? How do they view the world? *Have open communication with others and be willing to disclose some things about yourself, of course within reason and when appropriate. *People can sense manipulation, if not consciously then subconsciously. I can sense manipulation a mile off and don't like it one bit! Sometimes I've kicked myself for agreeing to something I really didn't want to. Rapport is about mutual influence — give and take, an example is sharing in jokes, brainstorming a project together, a class, or being part of a team. *Mirror and match their posture and movements. This isn't about copying or mimicking. When movement's flow like a dance it shows you're in sync with others. For example if someone crosses their arms you could subtly do the same or cross your feet. You could match someone's breathing rate with your blink rate, foot tapping can be equalled with nodding in rhythm, tugging of the earlobe could be tugging at skirt/trousers/shirt. Again, this takes practise and subtle observation. *Notice and really hear their voice. What tone, pitch, pace, volume and wording do they use? *What's their breathing rate — fast, slow, even, erratic? Notice their rhythm of breathing and do the same. I find when I do one-on-one sessions with my clients, my breathing rate and that of my client becomes as one. I know then that my client and I are totally in the present moment and focused on each other. *We all have a unique way we move, some of us are slow, fast, steady or barely make a movement. I apparently move something like a penguin (womanly would have been nice but there you have it). The unique movement of others is something else that can be matched though I wouldn't be overdoing the penguin waddle! *Actively listen to the other person — be interested in what they have to say. Even my young son knows when I'm not present and not really listening to him. *Know and understand what your relationship with your Self' is before building rapport with others. *Be in the Present moment. *And finally, the biggest and most effective rapport building strategy is when you are personally involved in the rapport building process! Makes sense, does it not? May you have many wonderful moments in building relationships!

Law of Attraction Article: Manifestation Exercise #3 - Give The Universe Its Own Task List
The following is an exercise that I have learned from Abraham-Hicks. They refer to is as the Placemat Exercise. However, because I do my tasks list on my computer or in a notebook I started mentally calling it the Universe Task List and the name stuck with me. In case you have never heard of Abraham-Hicks, Esther Hicks is a medium who has long acted as a channel for a nonphysical group of beings known as Abraham. While I know some of you may shy away from the word channel or medium, some of the inspiration they provide regarding using the Law of Attraction is the most enlightening I have ever come across, so I think it would be well worth your time to check them out. In this case I believe the story goes that Esther Hicks was sitting in a diner one day with her husband talking about how overwhelmed she felt over all the tasks that she had to accomplish within the upcoming days. She received a message from Abraham to turn over the placemat that was sitting in front of her and draw a line down the middle of the paper and a line across the top so it resembled the letter t. She was to write Me on the left side and Universe on the right side. Then on the left side of the paper she was to write down all of the things that she was inspired to accomplish that day. The ones she was ready and willing to take action on immediately. The tasks that felt right and clear to her. On the right side of the paper she was to write down all of the things she wanted Universe to take care of for her. Things she wasn’t exactly clear on, felt any kind of resistance to doing, or items she hadn’t even figured how to start accomplishing yet. The point of this exercise is to 1. Get yourself clear on exactly what it is you are wanting and 2. Allowing and knowing that it is going to happen. For example, a hypothetical Universe Task List I would use for myself would be: ME: 1.Write at least 2 fun articles today. 2. Meditate for 20 minutes. 3. Do my yoga. 4. Have lunch with my best friend 5. Respond to some of the emails I have received 6. Update my website with some new articles from other authors All of the items above are tasks I feel good and inspired about accomplishing. I am happy and enthusiastic about doing them. Now on the left side I write what I would like Universe to take care of. Items I am not “in the mood for” or “ready to deal with yet” such as: UNIVERSE: 1. Find me an easy and pain free way to come up with the money to pay the car insurance next month 2. Send me inspiration to help me get clear on the information I want to include in my new ebook 3. Find me an easy and pain free way to get out of a social obligation I’d rather not attend (in your case be specific on what that engagement is) 4. Find the right person who will be able to fix the bug on my computer 5. Find me a simple solution to getting the garage cleaned out It does not matter how many things you give the Universe (or your higher self, if you prefer) to do. Just know that you are not alone here. What you ask for you will receive. So as you write out what you want Universe to accomplish, act and feel as if it is without a doubt, going to be taken care of. Feel as if you just handed this list to the most reliable Manager you have ever met and that you are so confident that these things are going to be done, that you do not even have to give them a second thought. You will be thrilled and amazed at how this works! For instance, let‘s go back to the example of the list I would give Universe to take care of. 1. Money for the car insurance. How would Universe handle it? Maybe my mother wins money in Atlantic City and she decides to share some with me and I also receive an unexpected check in the mail. Between the two of them - they more than cover the premium. 2. The inspiration for my new ebook. Universe urges me to make an unplanned stop at the library where I find a new book that just came in and I find it is exactly the subject I feel inspired to write about. 3. The engagement I didn’t want to attend. The people I was supposed to meet with call me and tell me something else came up and apologize because we will have to do it another time. No hurt feelings on either side. 4. My computer problem. I find out the guy who runs my yoga class also fixes computers on the side and charges less than half what a professional would. I find this out by simply chatting with the person next to me while doing my fun task of taking the yoga class in the first place. 5. My garage getting cleaned out. My niece has just gotten into selling on Ebay and offers to clean out my garage if she can sell and keep the profit on the items I know longer want to keep. I can‘t tell you the thrill-chills you will get as you watch Universe work out these kind of “miracles” without any effort on your part. Now there is one last step to this exercise. As Universe goes about its business and accomplishes each of these tasks for you, it is important that you acknowledge it, be grateful for it and encourage more. Anytime the Universe easily handles one of my tasks and I have clapped my hands together gleefully (and yes, there have been many times I have literally clapped my hands together gleefully) I always follow up with a “Thank You Universe and more of that please!” It helps you to take notice of “who” is responsible for helping you out and reinforces the belief that you really can depend on it for the future. Plus when you say “more of that please” and you start knowing it is really coming, you get more excited about handing over the next task and watching with wonder to see how Universe will work it out. I’ll be honest, while I used to write out this list almost everyday, I now find myself doing it more often mentally. Now if something comes up that I don’t feel like dealing with, I’ll immediately throw it in Universe’s court. For instance, if the boss says I have to work late tonight I give an immediate mental “Yuck! Universe I’ll let you handle this one. I want to go home happily on time tonight.” Then I forget about it and watch as the Universe does its stuff and reminds the boss that his child has a recital tonight and we can’t work late after all. But if you are just starting with this exercise, I would definitely do the physical list. It will give you a great feeling of relief as you write down the tough things you want “your manager” to deal with, so you can stay focused on the things that you are inspired to do today.
