Simply Psychic

Dating After Death or Divorce Deciding to get back into the dating pool after the death of your partner or after a divorce can be a very intimidating prospect. Wondering if you have waited long enough, are emotionally ready to date someone new, and how you will meet available partners are all valid concerns. If you have been in a long relationship and it has been a long time since you dated or met anyone new you are interested in, the idea of going through the process of meeting someone and getting to know them can seem like a daunting task after being in a relationship where you were so comfortable. As nerve wracking as it can be, if you have the right attitude getting back into the dating pool can be an exciting and worthwhile adventure. What follows are a few things to keep in mind as you stick your big toe back in the dating pool. 1) Give yourself time to grieve your past relationship. Whether your relationship ended because of death or divorce, you need to grieve. Loosing a partner to death is devastating. Divorce is also very painful. You need to acknowledge your feelings and process your grief before you can fully commit to pursuing another relationship. 2) Let go of the past. This absolutely does not mean that you stop loving the person you have lost. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to date someone who stopped loving their partner simply because they had died. But it does mean that you have to let them go, accept that that relationship is over, and desire to move onto a new phase of your life. The same goes for people who are divorced. In order to move on to something new, you have to let go of the old. Learn from your mistakes and approach the future with a clean slate. 3) Acknowledge your needs. No matter what our age, we all have the need for human companionship. It is ok to want to have someone in your life. Whether it is just to have a companion to have dinner and participate in other activities with or whether you are looking for a serious relationship that may lead to marriage, you need to acknowledge your needs and be OK with it. 3) When is it enough time? This can be a difficult question to answer. We are no longer bound by convention in society that says you must wait a specific period of time before dating. Many people are afraid of what people will say if they appear to be dating too soon or they have their own feelings of guilt thinking they are betraying their former partner by dating someone soon after a loss. The answer is when you are ready you are ready. For some people that is a year or more, for some it is a lot less. You may meet someone you really like a lot sooner than you plan and want to date them or it may take you a while to find that special someone. As long as you have paid attention to rule number one above, let your heart guide you. Life is short. Do you really want to pass up an opportunity for possible happiness because you are afraid you have not waited long enough? 4) Be cautious. I wish I could say everyone out there is pure in their motives. Unfortunately there are people out there of any age who prey on vulnerable people. If you have not been in the dating world for a while, your anxiousness and excitement when you meet someone new may cloud your judgment. Exercise caution for your physical safety as well as your personal safety. Get to know someone before you tell them where you live. Meet them in a public place the first several times you see them. NEVER discuss financial information until you know someone very well. NEVER give someone money or the keys to your house. Use common sense. If someone really wants to get to know you they will understand why you want to meet in public or take things slow. Also there is safety in numbers so consider taking another single friend with you to single events. It can help you feel more at ease at singles events where it is easy to feel awkward. 5) Have fun. Whether you are looking for a long term relationship or something more casual take time to enjoy the experience of meeting new people and being sociable. Every person you meet will not be a Mr. or Ms Right but that does not mean you can’t enjoy their company and make a new friend. Plus, you never know who they might introduce you to! While dating again after a death or divorce can be anxiety provoking and stressful, how you approach it can go a long way to have a positive attitude and get the most from your experiences. If you consider these tips you will be on your way to putting yourself out there in a positive way. Mustika Bezoar Pearls--Notes
"Bezoar" comes from the Persian word, "pá zahar," meaning "antidote against Poison" (pa-cure, zahar-poison). The term is normally applied to stones found in the stomach and digestive system of animals. We use the term in a generic sense for concretions to be found in all organs of animals, plants, and in other aspects of Nature. Indonesian occultists and shamans with this definition in mind, refer to bezoar stones as "mustikas." In other parts of the East they are called by various names, such as "geliga" (Malaysia) and "Mutya" (Philippines). Ancient naturalists gave specific names to the bezoar stones as found in animals. For instance, bezoar stones of eagles were called, "Aetites," or "Aquilenus." A similar term, "Aquilinus" refers to the stones found in the head of fishes. "Crapandia" was the name of the stone found in toads. Swallows produced concretions called "Chelidonius." The stones found in cocks were called "Alectorius," and "Celonite" was the name of the bezoar stone found in tortoises. The occultist and naturalist, "Albertus Magnus," referred to the stone taken from the head of dragons as "Draconites." This latter bezoar stone was considered a great treasure by the kings and emperors of the East. As a rule, bezoar stones or mustikas were, and are highly valued--to the knowledgeable they are regarded in high esteem for their practical qualities in the healing of mind, body, and soul, as well as conferring upon the wearer wonderful psychic and spiritual qualities when used in the correct manner. These pearls can be costly, one source relates that in contemporary times, some of these bezoar stones are offered by Traditional Medicine at a price of US$20,000 per stone! Bezoar stones are mostly calculus concretions to be found in animals and plants, though they are also found (perhaps developed through different processes) in the environment in which these creatures live. Certain animals such as snakes, deer, centipedes, monkeys, wild goats, camels, porcupines, antelopes, etc. produce them in abundance. Some mustika pearls have their origin in so-called mythological creatures such as dragons and sea-serpents. Unusual stones and pearls in our collection were acquired by shamans and occultists possessing expertise in the field of mustikas. Bezoar stones according to some scientific investigators, are composed mostly of calcium phosphate, with some elements of the crystalline mineral, "brushite." Certain bezoar stones contain oxide of iron, silex, alumina, etc. Gemologists may analyze them to be simply natural-mineral or semi-precious stones--but what makes these bezoar stones special and unique is their point of origin, and many owners of these pearls have come to realize that they contain a psychic intelligence or presence. Some psychics verify that bezoar stones have an indwelling elemental spirit called by occultists "fairies," "elves," etc. Royalty were very fond of bezoar stones--not solely because of their exquisiteness or their unusual appearance, but because of the great magickal virtues that they confer to the possessor--virtues such as charisma, an authoritative-bearing, personal magnetism, psychic sensitivity, etc. Queen Elizabeth I, for instance, is historically recorded to have had several bezoar stones as part of her crown jewels. Xá Abás, one of the kings of Persia, was also fond of the stones. According to one legend, one of the Shahs of Iran gave several bezoar stones to Napoleon--something which "the conqueror" greatly honored. He later tried to destroy them in fire, perhaps so that they would not fall into the wrong hands. In the "Garuda Purana," a Hindu scripture, bezoar stones are highly extolled; while in western literature, speaking of the toad-stone, Shakespeare acknowledged their existence in "As You Like It, (Act II, Scene i)": Sweet are the uses of adversity, Which, like the toad, ugly and venomous, Wears yet a precious jewel in his head . . . Bezoar stones are scarce--some are rare! Most have great beauty while others may look unsightly and as worthless baubles--but within them all lies great virtues and magickal power that are probably more potent than ordinary crystals and gemstones--especially for healing work. The contemporary practice of crystal healing is based on the ancient healing-art of applying the bezoar stones to the body to neutralize poison. As the latter were scarce, ordinary crystals and stones were used instead. One is most fortunate to possess these bezoar stones--especially the higher quality ones which are prized greatly by collectors and occult practitioners. They can be considered not only as investments--possession alone actually improves the financial and social condition of their owner--one reason why they were sought for by noblemen and kings. The knowledgeable occultist would know how to wield and take full-advantage of the power that these stones possess. These bezoar stones are actually physical representations of the "Cintamani" or the "wish-fulfilling" jewel of the Buddhists--they help to fulfill one's innermost and cherished dreams. Most of these mustika pearls have their origin in the Indonesian archipelago--from the islands of Kalimantan (Borneo), Java, and Sumatra. It is a fact , though, that even in these islands bezoar stones are scarce. ---------------Mustikas are unusual objects formed in animals and plants. They may assume the shape of regular oyster-pearls and tumbled stones or in unusual shapes and sizes. In their unpolished /untumbled state, they have a rough texture. Unlike oysters that form pearls out of irritation, Nature forms these pearls in the bodies of diverse animals, plants and fruits for some reason unknown as yet to us. They are unusual creations that may correspond to human cancers, cysts, and tumors. Not all animals or plants of the same species form these pearls, but they possibly do occur in almost every living being. Unusual pearls have also been found in the bodies of saints and holy people; this might possibly be an indication that animal and plant pearls are the manifestation of an organism's highest energy crystallized and formed out of conscious or subconscious aspiration to a higher evolutionary level or state. Some mustikas are fossilized parts of an animal or a plant, such as the eyes of a creature. After thousands or millions of years these eyes through a natural process have crystallized, hardened and acquired occult powers. The formation of a mustika pearl or a fossilized body-part are directed by Nature's invisible forces and intelligences. Normally these intelligences are elemental spirits that guide the process of the creation of a mustika pearl, and they subsequently make these pearls or fossils their home. Those carrying these pearls are served by the indwelling elementals in various ways; they help to strengthen their keepers aura and nervous system; they confer positive energies; they empower the brain centers, etc. The natural energies of these pearls attracts luck, neutralizes and wards-off negative forces. They have a natural tonic effect upon the physical system. They are more powerful than ordinary gemstones and crystals when applied for certain purposes. Added onto ritualistic items such as wands, they would truly empower an occult practitioner's magickal operations. Western occultists have yet to investigate and discover the power of these mustika pearls that heretofore have only been mentioned in myths and fairy tales--as secrets known only to the ancients. Mustikas are widely known in South-East Asia, India, and other countries of the East. Malays, for instance, call Mustikas "Geliga"; Phlipinos call them "Mutya." Occidental naturalists of the past referred to them as "bezoar stones." The powerful stones told in tales and legends are actually mustikas. The Sanskrit text, "Sri Garuda-Puranam," speaks in detail of these pearls. In essence it declares a man acquires great fortune and blessings by possessing a mustika. These magickal pearls are one-of-a-kind, unique, rare, and powerful. It is said that only fortunate people are able to acquire and keep them. Where Are They Mostly Found and Acquired? The mustikas--pearls and fossils accessible to us from our sources--have been acquired mostly in the Indonesian archipelago. They have been discovered in caves, jungles, sacred places, historical sites and in the remains of animals and plants. Some of them were magickally retrieved from the etheric planes by occultists who specializes in this unusual feat. The power within these pearls are sometimes known by the psychic struggle the occultist had to go through with the spirit guardians in order to acquire them. Quite a number of these pearls were gifts to our sources by tribal shamans and chieftains. How the existence and virtues of the pearls are discovered could sometimes occur quite by accident. For instance, tribal hunters may find an animal exhibiting a degree of invulnerability to their weapons; after having finally killed the animal with the help of a shaman, they would discover that the creature possessed strange pearls lodged or embedded in their head or body. Subsequent investigation would reveal that it was these pearls that gave the animal its invulnerability power. Animals are not hunted or killed for mustikas/pearls, though, as shamans know that they can hardly be found in that manner--the discovery of a pearl is often incidental to the killing of a creature for food or because they are a menace to villagers. Pearls are mostly found in the remains, dens, and nests of the creatures. Centipede are one of the many creatures that form pearls. These pearls are formed by the mucous of the giant centipede, which it plays about with its mandibles and then places it on top of its head where it crystallizes and in time falls off to the ground. Some centipede pearls are formed in the stomach. Genuine centipede mustika pearls are prized by gamblers for the luck that it bestows upon its master. Generally speaking, the virtues of pearls are known by the observation of their effects in one's daily life as they are carried, worn or attuned to by certain methods such as psychic contact with the indwelling elemental spirit. Some of the pearls have quite unusual physical effects, such as the costly and rare Mustika Merah Delima that tinges water where it is immersed in with a red coloring--or so the story goes. How to Determine the Real from the Fake There are various ways for determining whether a mustika is real or a fake. Some of the various points to be considered are the following: The Energy PresentWhen a pearl is held between the thumb and forefinger, as the breath is held, energy would be felt as issuing forth from it. The longer it is held the stronger will the energy be palpable. The energy would run through one's arm and finally reach the heart or to one of the other chakras within the body depending upon its quality. Fakes do not give such sensations. The Presence of an Elemental SpiritEach and every one of the mustika pearls have an indwelling elemental spirit--fakes do not have them unless attached by a knowledgeble occultist. The presence of the spirit may be felt and communicated with by a psychic. The Medicinal Properties.Without exception, all mustikas have vibrational healing virtues which may be tapped into. Again, fakes do not possess such power. The Difference Between Mustikas and Ordinary Consecrated Talismans There are several principles that differentiates mustika pearls from talismans. Among them : 1) Mustikas are empowered by Nature's forces and intelligences--unlike talismans which are consecrated by human operators. 2) The power and elemental spirit within a mustika pearl are not extinguishable or transferable to other objects, unlike the power within talismans which may be magickally neutralized or transferred to other items. 3) No observances or prayers are required for mustika owners in order to maintain its power or have them function perfectly--unlike talismans which do. The Philadelphia Experiment: New Evidence Surfaces 4
It's taken me some time to be able to write this article. That's because I am in awe of the time travel prophecy that came my way just a year and a half ago. I shouldn't be because it's happened before. I clearly remember sitting in a quiet room in the late 1980s when Preston Nichols, Al Bielek and Duncan Cameron spoke of a cataclysmic event that would occur sometime in the future of New York City. As my video camcorder captured their every word, I remember how reluctant they were to talk about it. Their reluctance seemed almost dutiful and preprogrammed. Watching that video today, I know they were describing the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. To recap from previous articles: On February 12, 2004, a woman that I'll refer to as Virginia was joined by her husband and two friends to clean out a small room that existed on the second floor of their newly purchased retirement home in Maryland. The eighty-five year old house needed an interior facelift. With Contractor work set to begin shortly, the four had the task of removing items from a smaller room that was going to become part of a larger open area when everything was completed. As the small group of people prepared the items for removal, they suddenly felt sick to their stomachs. A green mist appeared in the room accompanied by the form of a man and the odor of over-heated circuitry. He looked like a sailor wearing a long out of date naval uniform. Before anyone could react, the sailor looked at the group and said, "2005. Watch out for 2005! They're playing with your future!" After that, the Sailor faded into the wall and the green mist quickly dissipated. All agreed later that they had heard his voice and everyone heard the same thing. They described the Sailor's voice as deep and full, but sounding a bit muffled. Despite the seemingly over-dramatic words and manner of the misty sailor, it would be a mistake to dismiss the incident out of hand. I have carefully researched this event as time and finances have allowed since it first occurred over a year ago. My investigations have leaded me to believe that it's not a work of fiction and likely occurred as reported. Although I have dutifully reported the progress of my investigation through follow-up articles, I have not turned the entire situation into some sort of carnival atmosphere. I knew that this event would somehow play out and now it has. Hurricane Katrina was more then just a weather event; it was a catastrophe of almost unprecedented proportions. Was that the nature of the sailor's warning? It's hard to say because there doesn't seem to be any direct connection between the two events, at least on the surface. Digging deeper has uncovered some disturbing facts that we all may want to consider before drawing any final conclusions. The manipulation of weather has long been a priority for the United States. One need only look at HAARP (High frequency Active Auroral Research Program). The notorious HARRP array in Alaska is said to have the ability to bounce electromagnetic beams off the upper atmosphere and focus them for the purpose of heating the ionosphere. Although touted as the building block for an advanced military communication and tracking system, there can be no doubt that HAARP has the ability to cause some type of weather changes. It may be no accident that HAARP is also a direct descendent of ELF and Radiosonde research. ELF is a special low frequency radio system used to allow for communication with submarines deep under the sea. The Radiosonde is a radio sounding device. These devices are used by the National Weather Service and often placed on weather balloons. HAARP, ELF and Radiosonde devices have long been connected to research that goes hand in hand with the Philadelphia Experiment technologies. The mind control aspect of the Philadelphia Experiment was said to have involved the use of microwave, Radiosonde and other technologies that could have preceded or coincided with the development of ELF and HAARP. The technology used for the invisibility effect achieved during the original P.E. experiments affected the minds of those involved. This left the door wide open to explore the possible use of that technology for mind control. Imagine the military or political benefits that could be derived from the successful deployment of mind control devices? However, those devices would only be as good as their ability to operate over a widespread area. The development of additional technologies to assure that would be possible may have also assisted in the discovery and deployment of things like ELF, HAARP and Radiosondes. However, there can be no doubt that the use of these technologies to control weather would be equally as beneficial from a political or military standpoint. Weather manipulation can provide obvious benefits in terms of record harvests, national revenues and tourism. The danger, however, is the same one that exists with time travel. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. You cannot attempt to alter the past or future without the potential of doing serious damage to yourself or others. That's because we do not yet possess the ability to fully manipulate time. To do that, we would have to have a complete database of its ebb and flow. Most would concede the implausibility of being able to create such a concise record. However, that would not stop us and probably has not stopped us from attempting to control weather or time. Our Space Program provides a good model for this. Once we discovered that the technologies to take us out into Space could be developed, we went ahead full throttle. As with Time Travel and Weather Control technologies, the potential political, economic and military benefits derived from diversified missile and rocket projects were just tempting to ignore. No one was concerned about being able to control how many missiles were eventually deployed, the amount of space junk that would end up in orbit or the number of people who might die during space missions. Worrying about all that would come later. Despite the horrendous damage we might due to our planet in trying to control the weather, I have no doubt that such considerations play a secondary role. I am certain that many scientists have convinced themselves that we now know enough about our ecosystem to be able to predict almost any potential problem with weather control. Likewise, the scientists and engineers working on time travel projects have likely adopted the popular theory that says that Time is actually a big circle with no beginning or end. That would allow for movement anywhere within that circle. Any changes would merely become part of the norm, despite the fact that large numbers of people, places or things may be permanently altered or simply cease to exist. Acceptance of the big circle theory when it comes to Time Travel may have opened a Pandora's Box that can never be closed. It might not be unreasonable to suggest that the government would use available weather alteration technologies to cause what seems like a catastrophe to fix or prevent a problem created or detected by their Time Travel program. Such a problem could end up being ten times worse then the disaster they may have caused to fix or prevent it. Most people think in the now. When considering the past, present or future, they do so in relation to the reality they know. Suppose it were possible to consider any number of possible realities, choose one and replace those less desirable? The problem is that accomplishing that switch may come with unforeseen consequences. When it comes to time travel, little problems can quickly become big ones requiring more then just a little tweaking of a desired time line. Because New Orleans is one of America's largest ports, it's not unreasonable to consider the possibility that something terrible may have happened requiring a PE-style time travel fix and subsequent alteration of the present as a preventative measure. There could have been a dirty bomb or biological attack by terrorists bringing something into that port. A hurricane might have been just the distraction needed for U.S. Authorities to deal with the threat in a quiet way. Less then a year ago there was a story on the major cable news networks of a cargo ship carrying something dangerous on board. The ship was headed toward the east coast of the U.S. The last I heard was that the Coast Guard was going to intercept the ship far offshore because they had word of a credible threat. Following those reports, the story and the ship just vanished. Nothing more was said. I went to the CNN and Fox News websites looking for the story that both networks had reported. The story was gone. This is not conjecture or guesswork, it's fact. Hurricane Katrina and the possibilities it has provided as a fulfillment of the time traveling sailor's prophecy is something we should all carefully consider. For me, the shoe fits and fits very well. We can only hope that the next warning we receive will be one that allows us to take some preventative action. The very nature and dramatic accent of the 2004 warning leaves me with the sinking feeling that it was motivated more by desperation, then the hope that anyone had the ability to stop what was coming. The Metaphysical View of Death and Life After Death Part 3 Posted By : Leonard Lee
Religious beliefs regarding death and the after-life.

Are The Stars Out Tonight? Reconnecting With The Power Of Mystery
On a crisp June night I?m lying in my sleeping bag at 10,000 feet in the Sierra?s Desolation Wilderness. Here, far from the light and haze of the Bay Area, the sky is deep black, but thick with twinkling dots and dim wisps of cottony light. When I look from the corner of my eye, the dim lights become more defined, easier to perceive as stars. To count them all would take years, if it was even possible. The number seems incomprehensible. And the mystery of what could exist out there, somewhere, at once inspires and humbles me. Enthralled by the night sky, I struggle to keep my eyes open, knowing with a disquieting certainty that upon my return to the ?real? world my focus will be drawn steadily and relentlessly away from the mysteries of the night sky. The real world of responsibilities, work, relationships and bills provides a powerful distraction from the mystery of the night sky and the mystery of our lives. This point was driven home, recently, when I heard the following two intriguing but contradictory statements in the same day. First, in a recording, Carolyn Myss observed that this is the first time in which entire generations will grow up without seeing the stars! Imagine growing up in a big, bright city, without the resources to leave, surrounded by light, smog and tall buildings that blot out all but the most determined of the celestial objects. The second statement I heard came later that day, in an NPR story about the Hubble Space Telescope. A lead scientist for the telescope explained how, since the dawn of humanity we have been seeking to understand the origin of the Universe. This, he said, is the first time that we do understand it. We can see the spectral remnants from the Big Bang and actually listen to the sounds of the Universe moments after its formation. What a strange world we have dreamed into existence. Our technology and science enables us to unravel the secrets of the stars while simultaneously creating communities that will never see them. As our understanding of our world and the Universe has expanded, we have, as a culture, become disconnected from the inherently mysterious nature of our existence. And as individuals we run the risk of losing touch with the powerful force of mystery in our lives. When was the last time you laid out at night gazing into the sky? When was the last time you attempted to count the stars, or trace the outline of Ursa Major? When was the last time you wondered who or what might be out there in the vast reaches of space, or what your place is within this Universe? Mystery is a source of power for humans. We draw creativity, passion, healing and inspiration from the Unknown. Artists, scientists, inventors and philosophers all speak of the mysterious nature of discovery, creation and problem solving. Shamans and Healers of all cultures understand that the unknown holds the power to heal and transform the Soul, Mind and Body. When we lose touch with that mystery, we lose touch with a source of personal and communal power. Passion, too, comes from Mystery. Consider your intimate relationships, past or present. It is not the daily encounters or the practical matters that keep a relationship growing. Nor is it the moments of tenderness and intimacy. These are all integral parts of a relationship, forming the foundation and structure. But it is in the moments of Mystery and Discovery that the flame of passion is refueled: It is when your lover surprises you with a perfect gift. Or when you catch an unexpected glimpse of your partner kneeling over a flower to inhale its aroma. The door to Mystery opens also when your partner displays her anger for the first time, or when he trusts you with the sharing of a grief long held hidden. These moments when you encounter something new and surprising about your lover take the relationship deeper into the mystery and are the moments of growth and renewal for each of you as individuals. It may be love that sustains a relationship, but it is the glimpses into the mystery that refuels love. Relationships begin to stagnate and die, not when love fades, but rather, when the doorway into the Mystery remains closed for too long. This is equally true in your personal life. When you close the door that leads to your personal mysteries, you deprive yourself of a source of power and passion. One way to reopen that door, or open it wider, is to embrace the mysteries around you. How does a tiny acorn transform itself into a majestic oak tree? How do the birds know when it is time to migrate? How does this computer do what it does? What waits for us in the vast reaches of space? Do not believe that the scientists know everything. If Christopher Columbus had accepted the prevailing wisdom of his day, he never would have set sail. If Einstein had believed the existing theories of matter, space and time, he would not have formulated the theory of relativity. Bask in the mysteries. Challenge existing assumptions. Discover your own answers. Become curious and childlike when something intrigues you. Begin to open the door to the external mysteries and the door to your personal mysteries will soon follow. When it does, you will have access to a vast source of inspiration, creativity, and power. A General Look at Alchemy Part 1 Posted By : Leonard Lee
Alchemy's Origin. Purpose of Alchemy. Alchemy's Transmission to Christendom. Levels of Alchemy.

What most psychics don't want you to know!
How do you find a good accurate psychic? You could look up the yellow pages but any good psychic will have enough word of mouth business and web site traffic that they would not waste the money on a yellow pages advert. There is always a hot line psychic. The advantages are immediate response and you can pay by the minute. Is it a good idea! The reality is many of these psychics make about 10 cents for every dollar you spend and they are prepared to read for you at a moments notice!Personally I would not recommend a hot line psychic. A number of my psychic friends have told me about their terrible experiences with psychic hot lines, which range from underhand tactics to keep you on the phone as long as possible and more worryingly the psychics were expected to read from a pre-rehearsed script. The likelihood is many of these hot lines are poor very value for money. One thing is for sure if the psychics are prepared to work for $10 bucks an hour at a moments notice you have to assume the chance of getting a quality reading by a hot line psychic are very remote.Disillusioned your next stop is your local metaphysical store however if you think about it these psychics are all part time psychics that need the foot traffic of the store to be busy. Some of these psychics may well be good but lack the experience of a full time psychic who have their own client base. In short you may well get lucky and get a fairly decent reading at an attractive price. If you’re on a tight budget and don’t have any life changing decisions to make then this would be a fairly attractive option as prices will be around a dollar a minute. How about a psychic fair, all the psychics in one room and you get to pick! If you really need your reading to be in person then this is an excellent option however you have to be very selective. Look for an excellent presentation, brochures, business cards a banner or a poster; these are all good signs of a professional psychic that makes enough money to afford to invest in their business.Particularly good signs are the psychics that collect your email and have a web site that has a real domain name rather than some myspace or freebie hosting account; these are the real professional psychics who know how to market their skills. You will spot them from across the room they will ooze confidence and be busy all weekend long. If you see an out of state psychic who gives you good vibes, go with your gut only an exceptional psychic is willing to pay for flights and hotels plus their booth fee and still expect to make a profit. Expect prices around $2 to $3.50 a minute, if they charge less they are probably not that good.Ideally your first stop should really be a word of mouth referral from a trusted friend or your next best bet is to search on line. Surprisingly the phrase psychic is not a particularly fruitful phrase to search for as you’ll end of with directories full of Google adverts or encyclopedias and skeptic sites.Look form more refined searches when looking for a quality psychic, search for psychic medium or better still international psychic mediums are really the psychics psychic, when a psychic wants a reading they look for psychic mediums. However you will have to search a bit deeper as you will not get a consultation with the celebrity psychics such as John Edward or James Van Praagh as they are too busy with group sessions and book promotions. Before you pick up the phone you must consider the following very important points when selecting your psychic 1. Is this psychic better known for their TV, radio or books than their psychic ability as many a psychic that can write profitable books have been overly hyped by a great PR and marketing team.2. Is there price both realistic and affordable to the point you can justify the benefit to you. This is very important as rates can vary from $75 to $750 dollars for 30 minutes however please note you will not get a reading 10 times better for 10 times the price!3. Be selective check out the top twenty psychics in MSN, Google and Yahoo, you should see a few psychics covering all the search engines. It is easy for a celebrity psychic to buy links in directories and flood the search engines with book reviews to dominate the top spots in Google however it is much more difficult to get into all the search engines purely on merit. 4. Lastly avoid the paid psychic listings; many of these are hot line or psychics that can’t get ranked on merit. None of the paid listings are in the top twenty organic search engine positions! Some of these paid listings are $2.50 per click. An old psychic hot line trick is to sell your contact details to online marketers to make even more obscene profits! I repeat avoid the paid listings if you want to avoid a sea of spam email.By now you are sufficiently educated to make an informed decision, good luck and when you do find that one good psychic tell your friends. The Pros And Cons Of Witchcraft Covens
The upside of joining a Coven is that it can give you some discipline when practicing your craft. For example, you will be celebrating every Sabbat, and making sure to do your daily devotions. It can be a rewarding experience to meet with like-minded people " no matter what you do.Also, the High Priest and High Priestess will always be there to help guide you on your path. The downsides of joining a Coven are mostly the politics involved. There can be squabbles, and problems within the group (for example, arguments over who should lead, etc). There may also be people who join who have a lot of emotional baggage, and actually bring negative energy into the group. This can corrupt the energy that the Coven is working with " in short, it may bring everyone down. The last downside of belonging to a Coven is that it can be a large commitment of time and energy. You will be expected to participate and even donate some money towards expenses and materials.Where To Find CovensYou can easily find Covens in your area by checking them out online. To start, just go to www.witchvox.com and sign up if you aren’t already (it’s free). You can also try to “google” the name of your city along with the word “Coven”. For example your search may be “New York Coven”.You may have many covens in your area, and may have a choice as to which one you want to join.Once you have at least once Coven to visit, contact them and find out if you can join. Then go visit and talk to the High Priest/Priestess and find out what the Coven is all about, and if you feel comfortable with it.Here are some of the questions you can ask on your visit to the Coven:1. What does your group have to offer me?2. What is your philosophy of witchcraft?3. What tradition do you practice?4. What do you feel that I have to offer your group?5. What are your requirements for degrees?6. How long is the dedication period?7. What are the expectations of members in your group?8. Are there membership dues?9. What is your lineage?10. What is your teaching style?11. How do you define covenstead? What Covens Do TogetherIt would be more accurate to ask what covens do not do together! Make ritual candles one full moon. Buy a case of tomatoes from the Farmers market and can them as a group. Throw parties. Make ritual bath salts, make incense, go visit other covens or Renaissance festivals as a group. Cook a weeks’ worth of meals for somebody mourning a loss or celebrating a baby. Become active in the pagan community. Make ritual jewelry together.
