Maria Duval - Are You Right or Peaceful?

Are You Right or Peaceful?
Thank you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. I’ve been using them nonstop since 2007 turned into 2008 and I cannot bear enough witness to how quickly things are changing for the better in my life. I use the words for peace on earth all the time. Dr. Hew Len has said, “You can choose to be ‘right,’ or to be peaceful. Being ‘right’ always leads to suffering.”

Step to the Right for Peace
This is a presentation by neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor, who had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. Most importantly, this is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.
