Maria Duval on Prejudices

Maria Duval has always advised me not to make any kind of prejudice against anyone. That means shouldn't pass an early unfair remark to a person when I haven't even known him or her well yet. That's amounts to sentencing without proof and can harm people through rumours being spread.

I do know that certain people because of their own bitter experiences, chose to discharge their negativities through prejudice about other people. Maybe that means them fee better. Or they feel good to see someone being victimised like himself or herself.

If there's one situation in life that make us humans hard to accept, that is when time comes to acknowledge own wrongs. It takes a lot of courage to do that I admit. There is this problem of pride. And because of pride people can just shift the blame to another unfortunate person.

There are even people who are overly sure of their own judgement that they don't realise their own misconception can damage many people. Words can be mightier than swords.

Finally I agree with Maria Duval who says that anyone who tends to have prejudices, and to spread them will also cause problems in their own life. Maybe not now, but in the future.
