Maria Duval - Do what you love

Once we find out what we love to do, we got to put our heart into the project and love what we are going to do. The feeling and emotion that comes out from the process are just something that we will think back again and again in the future. We are going to tell ourselves that it was worth the effort spending time to do that. There is nothing we cannot do if we love what we are doing. The passion, time and effort spent are worthwhile.

Even though the process may be filled with obstacles and we fail, there is always another chance to work on that again, provided you do not give up. If there is drive and passion in it, you will love what you do no matter how many times you take to complete that.

For example, a lot of people enjoy playing electronic games. Hardcore gamers will try and try to finish the whole course of the game once they begin playing. Why? Because they have the passion and love and the heart to play this game. This is probably not the right example, as hardcore gaming is as addictive as taking a drug. What I want to say is we should channel our wholehearted energy to do something useful and productive in the same way hardcore gamers are treating their games.

They probaby treat it as their hobby without any hope for monetary rewards for the effort put in.

From what I understand, majority of us do not like what we are doing for a living but have to endure it because we need to earn for a living. No matter how, you can still put in a little effort to do it well. Doing a work well will make you feel better and happier. Putting a little effort into a work will make you feel satisfied. Putting in a little passion in the work will produce better result. There would be chances that you will like the work after doing it many times!

Unless you love what you do, you should consider doing something else!
