Edgar Cayce - A Psychic Genius

Since my blog is mainly about spirituality, paranormal and psychics, today I'm going to change a bit and write about a very famous psychic called Edgar Cayce. He is certainly one of the most celebrated psychics of all time. Much has been mentioned about his extraordinary psychic ability.

From what I read, Edgar Cayce was actually a very ordinary man who was keen in photography and gardening. He was born near Hopkinsville, Kentucky, on March 18, 1877.

Unfortunately, he lived for only 43 years but he had left a big mark in the field of para-psychics. One famous psychic act he could perform was that he was able to self induce a sleeping state to the extent of complete relaxation and meditative level. This allowed Edgar Cayce to break through the limitations of time and space through his mind. Through this deep spiritual state, he was able to provide insights and readings so helpful that many individuals still find extremely suitable today.

In this deep meditative state, Edgar Cayce could also "communicate" with the Higher Intelligence to seek "readings" for a person who requested for his assistance about life.

Many people are still interested in studying what Edgar Cayce has deciphered. Professionals like medical experts, scientists, spiritualists, to occultists. This is because he emphasized a lot of the total importance of emotions, attitudes, diet, and the spiritual health which are essential for the overall health of a person. As it Edgar Cayce had been labelled "the father of holistic medicine".

Some interesting predictions he made were the growth of Judaism that really happened years after his death, the Cayce readings gave insights into Judaism that were verified a decade after his death. Also he predicted the fall of communism and even said something about particle science.
