Should you ask a very assured individual what makes her or him that way or what do they do to be self-assured, they may likely be unable to answer. That's because all they do derives naturally to them and in fact, it is extremely natural. Have you ever ever observed intently a 2 year old or perhaps a smaller child? They project self-confidence and that is because no one taught them the best way to be otherwise. To be confident is natural and it's in our nature to smile. Thanks, Maria Duval for that.
A smile tells a lot. It communicates that you simply like what you see but most importantly that you are at ease with yourself and calm. I am speaking about an actual, warm smile not a pretend and tense one. The form of smile that begins from the eyes, not from the mouth. The type that lasts in your face. In case your whole face smiles and appears calm, people will learn into it and understand that you are confident enough to take pleasure in whatever you're then enjoying. Additionally, a smile will make you feeling better and blissful people are also so much more positive.
Try to maintain a lightweight smile in your face on a regular basis, however don`t pretend it. Individuals will detect a fake smile or gesture a mile away. Smile like you accept the world you're part of and like you really enjoy spending time with the people who are in front of you. You'll notice that they'll relate in a much nicer way when you smile and that may enhance your self-confidence more.

Know Yourself
Hope you thoroughly enjoyed your New Year's day countdown party or activities!
I think 2010 started rather calmly for me as there is not much surprises in store. A short getaway over the holiday weekend with my family in a relaxed atmosphere. A truly tranquil way to sooth my tired soul to get ready for the next months, which I am sure will be very positive.
It is important that we know ourselves better before we can share our lives with someone you like. In fact, knowing yourself better will give you a chance to take a peek at yourself that you will share to the people around you.
Always have control of your mind when you are doing things. Yes there are always unexpected turns that may be out of control and they don't go your way. And through this experience, you will know what people think about you or how far is your limitations to take things like risks, or even discover a new talent.
I hope you will get to know yourself better. You can try meditation if you want to embark on self discovery journey.

Self improvement
When I look back and realise that, indeed, one of the main things that holds me back is that I've always played it safe and conservative because I've been too scared to take risks. Risk averse is my nature. This is something wish Maria Duval can provide me more tips and advices to self improve.
Instead of viewing life experiences as either negative or positive, it really helps to bring them all into balanced thinking. In every negative situation there will be something positive come out of it. In fact all of the 'negative' things I have experienced have made me much stronger and capable. If you think back to anything negative you have experienced you will be able to find something good in it, or that came out of it. It can't not be there. (sorry for the double negative there but even that makes a positive statement!)
In every positive situation there will be a hint of something negative e.g. if things are too easy you don't learn anything or have to take responsibility. You never have to draw deep on your resources and GROW. So what you really want is a balance and to ultimately see the balance in every experience and be grateful for what ever comes your way! Because it is what it is. It's all wonderful experience that helps us grow.
