It's been a while since I last updated the blog.

Well, still remember about the friend Nicholas whom I met at the New Years Day? I have nearly forgotten about it all together and I only recall of this incident when he called me up last night to say he would like to meet me. That's why I'm a bad moneylender! Of course I am glad to meet him.

So I met him for lunch today. He was true to his word and he returned the $500 to me. He thanked me profusely for helping him just when he was at the lowest point and he told him the money tied him over the difficulty.

I'm glad I help a friend and he stayed true to his words.

Meeting an old friend

It's evening time 9.55pm New Years Day 2007.

If you ask me what did I do on the first day of the new year, I can tell you I did something that I feel is spiritually gratifying. While others are merrying, I went to visit an old friend Nick. He's staying in a small apartment that is very lowdown because he told me that luck had not been at his side in the last couple of years when he lost a lot of hard earned money due to some unwise investment into stocks and shares. I can see that he is really down at this time when by right, everyone should be happy and looking forward to the new days ahead.

I took his hands and gave him my $500. He was very touched as I could see. He promised me emotionally that he would pay me back within 3 months in which by that time, he should be getting back to the proper track in life. Well, I hope he's really back on track because he's really a clever guy who knows his stuff and he just needs someone to appreciate his talent.

For me, I told him to write in to Maria Duval as she can help him spiritually. I have faith that that would work out.

It's a good deed, isn't it? I feel happy.

Decided to help an old friend

Relieved to have made up my mind.

I decided to loan my friend Nicholas $500 because he is a great guy I hanged out with some 10 years ago. It's just a small act of kindness too and it's really good to make a decision because it stops you from panning your thoughts to it all the time and causing you loss of focus at times. Subconsciously, I have even prepared to 'lose' this money as i am not sure if I will get back it. I hope you Maria Duval can help a good guy like Nicholas too.

But it's okay, because I believe in giving. God will help me to earn back many times i have faith in that. Helping an old buddy is a good deed and he helped me a lot last time too. I still remember he stayed back in my ex office to help me finish my job willingly even though it was not his charge. I am grateful for that mind you.
