I received a book about fengshui as my Christmas gift and the title of the book is "Everything Fengshui Book" by Katina Z. Jones. I've no idea why she knows that I'm into the spirituality stuff but I really appreciate a lot for the thought. The book is easy to read and understand, full of colourful prints. The content is made very interesting and it brought across the concepts very succinctly to the readers.
Fengshui is an ancient Chinese geomancy art and is based on the concept of yin and yang which must achieve the best possible balanced state in order for any entity in the world to function harmoniously in relation to one another. People likes fengshui because it might bring in some improvement in some aspects of our lives.
Besides these two basic concepts, there are also the elements of earth, air, fire and water which all have a strong impact on the major areas of our life like relationships, career, health and wealth. The manner in which they have been balanced will pave the way for our future advancement in that specific aspect of our life.
Furthermore, the directions of south, east, west and north also play an important role here. The directions have the power to influence certain aspects. Hence, it is highly useful to know some basic tips and may see your life turning around for the better with each passing day.

New hope
2008 is here and we are starting a new year! I want to treat the next 12 months with renewed energy and vigour. Here I'm just wondering what will be your goals for this year? And what is your predictions for the world?
Personally, I wish for health and peace for my family and friends. That's the best thing which money can't buy. Also I hope more people can visit my blog as I find it great whenever people finds it. It's like searching for a needle in the dark. Somehow I wish to contribute more to the less fortunates in the society too.
I also hope people can achieve their dreams and making their lives more wonderful. I want to grow and prosper and increase my knowledge in spirituality even more too.
Don’t you just love new years. It's always somewhat of a fresh start, clean slate, and a whole new world of possibilities. I wish everyone lots of success and the power to create your destiny this year!

Looking back 2007
Looking back for the past 12 months, I just am pleased to write here that what Maria Duval has predicted about me in this year is 80% accurate. I think that's really amazing! What she said even made me chuckled a bit when I look back. Maria Duval is so exact!
Some months ago, Maria wrote to me in her astral guidance to me that near sometime near the end of the year, I'll receive a great boost in my job. My company has earmarked me in line for promotion on next quarter next year.
Christmas time is here and all of us here are rather busy shopping for gifts for our loved ones. So I have kind of neglected the recent letters from Maria but I spent some time yesterday evening after a short meditation to browse through them. I think most of them are quite inspirational although at this time I don't really wish to subscribe too much as I need to save some for my family tour next month.
2007 is already at the end and I hope all of you have been positive and intuitive all these months. It's really great to have you my loved ones around.

Fears
All of us have fears! It's very easy to be overcome by them as rightly speaking, most of us are weak spiritually. How often do you let fear taken over you?
• Fear of failure
• Fear of success
• Fear of loss
• Fear that you're not good enough or not smart enough
• Fear that you are too old or too young to start something new
• Fear of being revealed as someone different than who people think that you are
• Fear of not being able to sustain past successes
• Fear of aiming too high and not reaching your goal
• Fear of loneliness
• Fear of separation
• Fear of happiness, maybe?
Fear is opposite of gratitude. So having gratitude is the key to releasing fear and living a more enjoyable, successful and more powerful life.
This is a season of JOY!! So let us go out there and share with the world the festive cheers~!

I have just watched the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness", which features Will Smith.
It is a story inspired by a true story of Chris Gardner, salesman who struggled to make a sales career for himself and his son. Although Chris and his son are homeless and without much money, Chris still persevere on and took an unpaid salary internship at a stockbroker company where only one in twenty intern make the cut. Eventually, he got selected and everything is history.
I particularly like this movie a lot, as it shows that with sheer determination, strong belief and action, one can overcome any obstacles that life can throw to him or her. It is a matter of how much he or she wants something in life.
Everyone wants and craves for happiness, but the journey to pursuit it is tough. But this life story has show that if one really want something in life that can make them happy, he or she can get it if effort has been paid to "go through the process of getting it".
Anyone else has watch this movie before? What is your thought?

Fortunate
There are three main components, in my opinion, that help you to achieve success in life: skill, passion and desperation. I either have skills or acquire them, I am fortunate to have so much passion about something I believe in, it borders on total obsession, but until recent times, I had not felt what it was like to be motivated by desperation.
Most of my life I have been reasonably fortunate. I always show my gratitude no matter how bad the situation might be. However recently I had to say no to my daughter, for something that was so incredibly dear to her heart, but we simply did not have the expendable cash to make it a reality for her. I'm so sad about that. That has never happened to me before and I finally have an insight and understanding of what it feels like to be motivated to change something through desperation. I now believe that this is the most powerful motivator of all.
I hope Maria Duval helps me on that. Financially many people are simply at the disadvantage.
