Today I wish to write something about benefits of Reiki. I just attended reiki sessions not too long ago and now I am already experiencing its benefits which I ought to share with you who may happen to be here. Remember, these are proven stress reduction technique that also enhances your spirituality. The person who invented Reiki must be a genius.
I'll be brief for this as I'm just a beginner. Right, the Reiki is a Japanese word which means Universal Life Force Energy. "Rei" means Universe while "Ki" means Energy, so it's pretty self explanatory.
It has powerful healing ability at physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. When people contract diseases, sometimes it could be due to emotional or spiritual deficiencies. That's where Reiki is useful:
1. supporting the body's natural ability to heal itself;
2. changing unwanted habits;
3. re-balancing the energy centers in the body and spirit;
4. overcoming mental and emotional obstacles;
5. stress reduction;
6. bringing the body into harmony by releasing physical and emotional blockages; and
7. promoting a state of total relaxation.
The above are some points which I mentioned. Personally, I feel I'm so much relaxed after that and it's as if I'm totally reborn spiritually. Sleep quality is excellent too. I used to have bad sleeps all the time and now I can get deep sleeps easily. Now I feel so recharged in the morning. I think there are more benefits and I'll write about it more in the future.

Things I do on weekends
It's weekend again and these are usually the activities I do on weekend:
1. Sleep as much as I can
2. Wash car
3. Short meditation to self-reflect
4. Bring family out for meals - family time
5. Attend reiki with wife on saturday afternoon
6. Watch sports on TV
7. Read some spirituality books
8. Out of some friends for a booze
Anymore?? I can't even tell sometimes.
Not so good news. Just heard today that one uncle who lives in South island has cancer. It has not been easy his family apparently. I told my wife he's a really nice guy. We are sad and pray that he would be strong enough to fight on and win the bout. Are we able to do anything about it?

Nature and job
Walking to nature is one of the less boring ways to recharge your spirituality. It's also beneficial to physical health too because the purer air in the mountains and forests contain fresher oxygen and negative ions which are just another reason why so many modern city dwellers are stepping into the nature.
Going into something serious, I receive a few calls daily enquiring about the job prospects of certain position. Being a patient person, I'd spend some minutes politely exchanging some ideas with them without turning them down straight. We are not supposed to give job councilling over the line. They are supposed to walk-in if they are seriously keen because that's how my company's live on. I'd usually advise them that talking to people who are already in the industry is the best way to find out.

Exciting sports event coming up
Something away from spirituality, Maria Duval, work and personal life, today I am writing something about a great sports event, the World Cup Cricket 2007 which is going to be held in selected Carribean countries until end of April!
As a keen sports fan, and a Kiwi, of course I'm very excited as this is one of the biggest sports here in this country. Only Rugby Union is better than it in terms of popularity. This year's competition will see some interesting teams challenging for honours with a total of 16 teams divided into 4 groups. New Zealand is grouped alongside England, the group favourites, Canada and Kenya in Group C. I'm very confident we will advance to the next phase.
The event will start on 13th March which is about 1 week from now and I'm very excited about it. My family will be closely following the event for sure and I can't wait for it to start soon. I did play cricket during the school days I was quite good in the batting.

Some random thoughts of the day
For me, I have no doubt that Maria Duval services help in certain way. Not perfect because there's no way anyone can be 100% right, not even the best prophet in history. Down to the heart. this is a very personal thing, and even if people think this is not a right service for them, just move on and tell them to stop sending you predictions. Life should be merry.
Other than this, I wish to say something in mind that it is getting toiugher to act on. It's about my 14 year old daughter. She's reached the time when she is starting to get rebellious and that's worrying my wife and me. Last night, I asked her if she would be keen to join us for some reiki sessions, I got the shock of my life when she said "No, I'm not interested in that crap! Stop bothering me with that!" Well, what can I do with that? Thinking back, wasn't me the same when I was that age? I was rebellious at one stage too but it quickly got over after I realised I've really saddened my parents.
Right from my working office, I think we are getting less busy now that the annual auditing is about to be completed. Of course there are dirts to be digged out. I'll have to see how it goes. Luck is with me now and I ought to able to avert the potential storms.
I'm awaiting to see your letters, Maria Duval. Are you sending me one soon? It makes me smile to see those quirky yet personal letters.

Happy with the luck
It feels good to drive my precious car to work again on Monday morning after some days of inconvenience. It is never convenient without a car here and luckily, we don't have awful jams found in other countries. It's always a breeze and an enjoyment to zip along the highway cruising to my favourite jazzy music.
Regarding the reiki lessons, we have decided that we will go to enrol for the course this weekend. It shouldn't take much time lol. It will be fun and I'm really looking forward to it. Life's getting better day by day and now I can really feel the sunshine at the end of the tunnel after some difficult months before. All thanks for Maria Duval for your inspirations. It seems like luck is coming towards me like never before.

Right thoughts attract
My friend Jason used to preach to me about the Power of Subconcious Mind, where people will get what they want if they have strong enough determination .... and they will get it in some unexpected manner. Sounds like he is Maria Duval *haa* We don't call him Preacher Jason for nothing.
Okay I plan to go trekking next month and have some other adventure outings planned, hope I can get a couple of days of leave from company. I regard this as a break for me to fully recharge my spiritual energy. It will be great. I'm thinking whether to buy a sleeping bag too because that would come in handy.
This evening, I went to collect my car (cost me $628) and after I paid my bill, the boss said.. “Please wait, I got a gift to reward customers like you.” and he pulled out a piece of stuff.. guess what?
IT'S A SLEEPING BAG as a gift for customers!
Is the car repair boss a psychic or mind reader? I think he could see my surprised face and I him I was planning to buy one too. This is the example of energies and thought attraction as what Maria Duval has said all along.
Isn't it more than coincidental?
